Chef Eli Townsend is a renowned culinary expert from Memphis, TN. He began his culinary journey at the age of eight, inspired by resources from the Memphis Public Libraries. Over the years, he has traveled across the country, honing his craft and exploring how food influences lives and fosters important conversations. Currently, Townsend is the Executive chef/owner at Dos Hermanos Kitchen, located in the historic Cossitt Library in downtown Memphis. This establishment is known for its unique dining experience where everything is made to order. Prior to this role, he was the Executive Chef for Sage restaurant in downtown Memphis , where his innovative soul fusion food gained considerable acclaim. Townsend’s culinary style blends traditional Memphis soul food with influences from all coastal regions of the country and across the globe creating a diverse and flavorful menu that appeals to a wide audience.
