Artist Statement:
“I just want you to know that I create and arrange comics. Sometimes my comics are set in familiar worlds, and sometimes they reference unfamiliar alternate realities, yet they are always autobiographical. In my recent work, I have been unfolding stories using both collaged materials and metaphorical drawings. These stories that will be displayed are not linear; they can be read in any order. They exhibit instances of inner turmoil and conflict and are ultimately about what it’s like to be alive.”
