Playhouse on the Square is proud to present the regional premiere of Heathers: The Musical, October 6 – October 29th at The Circuit Playhouse! Based on the 1989 film, Heathers: The Musical is the darkly delicious story of the students of Westerburg High, ruled by the fearsome trio of Heather, Heather, and Heather – the cruelest and hottest girls in all of Ohio. When misfit Veronica Sawyer rejects their evil regime, she and her new boyfriend, the dark and mysterious J.D., concoct a plan to put the Heathers in their place – six feet underground.
Making up the formidable Heathers are Gia Welch (Peter Pan) as Heather Chandler, and Associate Company Members Claire Clauson (9 to 5) as Heather Duke, and Lizzy Hinton (9 to 5) as Heather McNamara. The threesome are joined by Resident Company Member Brooke Papritz (The Flick; Rock of Ages) as Veronica Sawyer and Associate Company Members Danny Crowe (9 to 5) as Ram Sweeny, Tad Cameron (9 to 5) as Kurt Kelly, Heather Zurowski (9 to 5) as Martha Dunnstock, and Conner Finnerty-Esmonde making his debut with Playhouse on the Square as Jason “J.D.” Dean.
