Church Health and International Paper Partner for Healthcare and Coverage
Church Health awarded $300,000 grant from International Paper
July 26, 2018, Memphis, TN – Today International Paper (NYSE: IP) awarded $300,000 to Church Health to support the Covered Communities pilot program, a targeted and comprehensive initiative led by Church Health to improve health and well-being among children and families in high-need areas within Memphis, TN.
The multi-year pledge will help integrate MEMPHIS Plan healthcare coverage, health ministry development, expansion of child and family programs and offer nutrition classes in targeted high-need neighborhoods in Memphis.

Through the program, families will receive healthcare and services at Church Health, participate in nutrition classes at their congregations, engage children in age-appropriate wellness and prevention activities and access relevant specialized care and resources to improve overall family health and mitigate health risks.
