Friends For Life’s The Haven, outreach center, strives to promote the physical, mental and social well-being of everyone impacted by – or potentially impacted by –HIV, stigma or lack of support. We are a safe place where the community can come together to live and love without judgment- and work together to educate, empower and encourage all to embrace their worth in a fun, comfortable environment. Our goal is to help eliminate new transmissions of HIV in Memphis and the Mid-South and empower those we serve to become their healthiest, happiest selves.
OUTMemphis strives not only to provide services but to support LGBTQ+ issues and individuals to become a part of every aspect of civic life for every demographic. We host social support groups, peer-led projects, and social activities specific to trans men and women of color, seniors, parents of queer youth, Latinx individuals, men of color, and every intersection of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
