Our very first issue in July 2017 featured recently wed Judge Rachel Bell and Dr. Dorsha James. Now, almost three years later, we’re excited to catch up to see how wedded bliss is treating them and what they’re working on today.

Meet Travis and Mikie, the first gay couple legally married in Montgomery County, Tennessee after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of legalizing same-sex marriage in 2015.

Gov. Bill Haslam signed the “natural, ordinary meaning” bill into law on Friday, May 5. By Monday, May 8, Murfreesboro attorney Julia Tate-Keith had filed a lawsuit on behalf of six same-sex couples challenging the law.
