MEMPHIS, Tenn. (March 6, 2019) — Lucky’s Social Club, co-owned by Chelsea Glass and Brian Ellsworth of Southwood Entertainment, and Mac Hopper co-developer of Loflin Yard and Carolina Watershed, are excited to announce the grand opening of Memphis’ first dog park bar set for May 1. A soft opening community event will take place on Saturday, March 16, and Sunday, March 17 in partnership with the Downtown Memphis Commission. This St Pawtrick’s Day community event will be free and open to the public. Lucky’s will unveil future plans and allow everyone to tour the space and leave feedback for what the community would like to see.The hours for the soft opening event are Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6pm. There will be live music, pup friendly vendors, food trucks, beer, and exclusive Lucky’s merchandise.
Lucky’s is a membership-based dog park bar with a fun and safe environment for all furry family members. The location is behind Active Bolt off of S. Main and Carolina St. (730 S. Main, Memphis, TN. 38103).
Lucky’s will be open during late afternoon and evening hours with plans to serve gourmet hot dogs and an assortment of beer. Starting May 1 public bar hours will be Tuesday through Thursday, 4pm to 10pm, Friday from 4pm to 12am, Saturday from noon to 12am, and Sunday from noon to 10pm. All pups are welcome but owners will be required to show proof of updated vaccines, proof of being spayed/neutered, and a signed admission of a non-aggression.
Three membership options will be available: a $10 day pass, a $25 monthly membership, and a $275 annual membership. A limited time exclusive lifetime membership opportunity is also available. Amenities in the park will include tetherball, obstacle courses, water features, and an outdoor dog wash station. All members can join in the fun, exciting, and immersive experience with daily programming, monthly special events, and dog-related pop-up events.
