NASHVILLE, TN (APRIL 9, 2018) — The 30th annual Nashville Pride Festival welcomes back Bridgestone Tires as its presenting sponsor for the fourth year in a row. Along with this announcement, the Nashville Pride Board of directors has unveiled a new festival app to increase attendees’ experience.
Coming off a record breaking 2017 Festival, the 2018 event returns to Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville on Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th. The organization will be celebrating its 30th year of the annual festival. Last year’s event drew well over 35,000 people to celebrate LGBT+ people and culture.
The new festival app is now live and available to download on Google Play and the Apple Store. The highly anticipated 2018 festival entertainment line up will be announced through the app sometime in the next couple of weeks. Users will also be able to explore vendors, food offerings, festival activities, festival grounds, and win prizes by signing up through the app. As the festival details are finalized, the app will be updated on a regular basis.
“As the festival has grown over the past several years it has become apparent we needed to provide up-to-date information, maps, and allow attendees to see everything the festival offers” Pride board president Ryan Ellis stated.
The annual festival features four stages, including the Nissan Main Stage with live music and drag entertainment, over 200 vendors, Kids and Family area presented by Genesco, Youth Area presented by Journeys, two levels of VIP tickets presented by Opry Mills Mall, and a Studio 54 lounge presented by AARP.
Vendor spaces for this years festival have already sold out.
Nashville Pride Board Meetings are open to the public and the organization strongly encourages community involvement and participation in board meetings. All of these details can be found at nashvillepride.org.
