What a night to celebrate the people, businesses and organizations that continue to make our Mid-South LGBTQ+ community stronger.
The MidSouth LGBT Chamber of Commerce was proud to once again partner with Focus for the 2026 Focus Awards. The evening brought together members, community leaders, businesses, advocates, friends and supporters for a celebration of the people whose work creates connections and helps move our community forward.
Congratulations to Jasmine Tasaki with WeCare TN, recipient of the Advocacy of the Year Award. Jasmine’s commitment to advocacy and community impact is an example of the important work happening throughout our region.
We also congratulate The Pumping Station, recipient of the Bridge Builder Award. Building connections across communities is essential to creating a stronger and more inclusive Mid-South, and we are grateful for the work The Pumping Station continues to do.
And congratulations to Rev. Edith “Edie” Love, recipient of the Buddy Douglas Pioneer Award. This special recognition honors a legacy of leadership and pioneering work that has helped shape our community.
Most of all, thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. Our members and community partners are at the heart of everything we do, and events like the Focus Awards remind us what is possible when we come together.
