Dining Out for Life Kicks off Tuesday, April 17!

Nashville, TN – Considered one of Nashville’s most fun and interactive events, the 16th annual Nashville Dining Out For Life event is Tuesday, April 17, 2018. This year, more than 20,000 diners are expected to dine at more than 60 restaurants throughout the greater Nashville area to raise an anticipated $140,000 to support the work of Nashville CARES. Restaurants participate in Dining Out For Life by donating a generous percentage of proceeds from the day’s meals to Nashville CARES. Dining Out For Life is the first dine-out fundraiser of its kind and has raised millions for HIV/AIDS service organizations across North America.

This year the talented culinary duo, executive chef Brian Riggenbach and front-of-house extraordinaire Mikey Corona, will serve as celebrity chairs for this event. Their success with Yo Soy Underground Supper and Brian’s win on Season 24 of “Chopped” led them to Nashville in 2016 to open The Mockingbird, a modern diner serving up global fare and delicious fun.  Nashville CARES is thrilled to partner with them this year. Brian and Mikey, along with Nashville CARES staff and patrons will be on hand for interviews during their lunch and dinner services.
