No matter your race, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, there’s one thing we can all agree on: cute cats on the internet. It doesn’t have to be cats. It can be puppies, lizards, birds, whatever. If you need a shot of serotonin, there’s nothing like hitting up your favorite animal social media account. Can’t have a pet of your own? Live vicariously through pet owners who have TikToks and Instagram pages for their critters.

We can all use a dose of happiness these days, so here are a few exceptional animals and creators to follow on social media.


Animal: Jiff Pom, the most followed animal influencer on social media

With over a million followers on Facebook, 10 million on Instagram and 20 million on TikTok, Jiffpom is the most famous animal on the internet. The little Pomeranian starred in Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” video and in a Covergirl commercial, and yes, there are
Jiffpom toys.

Mamadou B. Ndiaye is as funny as he is informative. His TikToks feature fascinating facts about wild animals, and he’s absolutely hilarious in his delivery. A few of his video topics? “Four Animals that Will Co-Sign Your Obituary,” “Why This Animal is a War Criminal,” This Bird Starts Fires on Purpose,” and “Why This Monkey Has No Respect for Squirrels.” His funny-yet-educational videos are why he’s racked up over 11 million followers.


Animal: Cooter, the “talking” cat

Mason Glasco’s cat, Cooter, is a talkative boy and he laughs along with Mason in adorable videos. Cooter and Mason have racked up millions of fans who love Mason’s silly accent and Cooter’s cattitude. The fun begins when Mason summons Cooter, who sits on his shoulders, and Mason announces, “He has arrived.”

Every day, Tacoma, Washington, native Chris Watson takes a walk – and every day, he is greeted by countless neighborhood cats. He documents his walks, and the cats, on his TikTok account. On any given day, you may find Chris greeting Cow Mary, Nala, Milo, Scratches, June, Blizzard and other kitties in the neighborhood. No wonder these cats love Chris – his overall vibe is calming and sweet.


Animal: An entire farm: Caenhill Countryside Centre

Farmer Chris Franklin runs Caenhill Countryside Centre, which helps kids learn about agriculture and rural crafts, in Devizes, Wiltshire, England. The farm is home to 250 farm animals, including geese, ducks, sheep, owls, cows, goats, pigs and chickens. Caenhill went viral during lockdown, thanks to the plucky goose Cuthbert. Unfortunately, Cuthbert died late last year, but Chris and his crew continue to bring smiles to fans all over the world every day. Chris provides charming narration and fun voices for the animals, and some fans say they can’t start their day until they see the animals run out of the barn at sunrise.


Animal: Bunny, the “talking” dog

Ever wondered what your dog is thinking? Alexis Devine doesn’t have to wonder – her dog, Bunny, communicates with her directly using buttons for words and phrases. She uses 70 buttons with words like “outside,” “all done,” “concerned,” “beach,” “family,” “love” and “ugh.” She’ll press “upstairs” and “go” when she wants to go upstairs to play. Bunny is as smart as she is adorable – which is probably why she’s racked up over 7 million followers on TikTok.

Crouton the cow is definitely Instagram-worthy. He’s a handsome cow, and he has thousands of fans on Instagram and Twitter. He lives on a farm in New York with a whole host of chickens, dogs, pigs and horses. Check out Crouton’s channel for some chill and charming farm life.

Lee Asher travels across the nation with his 11 rescue dogs to promote and encourage animal rescue, and he documents his journey on social media. He’s rescued dogs, cats, parrots, llamas, pigs and more. Lee’s love for all critters shines through, and you’ll definitely find an animal to fall in love with.

To see Bacon Bits is to love her. She’s a nine-year-old black and gray smoke Persian rescue kitty who pretty much always has her tongue out. She’s adorable, and if she can’t make you smile, your soul may be broken.

Bruno, a 25-pound shelter cat, took the internet by storm a few years ago. Not only is Bruno a heckin’ chonk, but he also likes to stand on his hind legs and grumble until he’s fed. Adorable, right? Animal: Teddy the Shetland Pony

Teddy the Shetland Pony’s bio says he’s an “international heartbreaker” who “dabbles in modeling and womanizing,” so you know you’re in for a treat with this account. He’s made appearances at horse shows and races, and was even featured in a 14-page fashion shoot in Town & Country Magazine. Teddy also visits hospitals to cheer up patients.


Animal: Wolfie the cat

Wolfie the cat almost looks more like a wolf – or a vampire – than a cat. His owner, Jacqueline, is part of the Friends for Life Rescue Network in Los Angeles, and Wolfie and his siblings were rescued from the streets of L.A. He only weighed a few ounces, but Jacqueline and her team gave him much-needed medical attention and fattened him up. Now, Wolfie is a healthy and happy kitty, with a fang-tastic overbite that has garnered him fans from around
the world. He’s the poster cat for the rescue network, too.
