Streetdog’s Mission
“Streetdog Foundation rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes stray and abandoned dogs in Memphis.
We are committed to placing wonderful companion animals into loving, forever homes. We
believe in responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering and educating the public about how
wonderful dogs are — especially misunderstood breeds. We have special experience with bully
breeds. We are willing and able to help people find homes for dogs through online marketing,
adoption days and special events. We are not a shelter and do not have a facility to keep stray
dogs. We rely solely on volunteers, fosters and donations to keep our organization running.”
YOU CAN HELP
While Streetdog’s annual fundraiser “Howl at the Moon” was back in November there are plenty of ways you can still help. Check out their calendar or FB page for smaller events and fundraisers throughout the year. The next adoption event will be on January 13, 2018 at the Hollywood Feed on Union Ave.
Also, a donation would make a great gift for someone this holiday season! https://www.streetdogfoundation.com/donate/
