Nashville CARES Announces the “5 Day $50K” Double Your Impact Challenge

NASHVILLE, TN. – Nashville CARES is excited to announce the “5 Day $50K” Double Your Impact Matching Donation Challenge for the 28th Annual Nashville AIDS Walk! A generous donor is matching, dollar-for-dollar, the first $50,000 donated to the Nashville AIDS Walk during the five days: Monday, September 23 through Friday, September 27. Every dollar donated during this time will result in $2 to Nashville CARES.

The donation is being made in memory of the work and service of Clay Isaacs to Nashville CARES and the community, given by the estate of his late mother, Susan Clay Callaway. Isaacs was the well-known owner of Lumen Lamps and Shades, an award-winning lamp store in Nashville, TN. Isaacs died of natural causes at his home in 2016. He was also well-known for his courtesy and integrity, as well as his dedication to thinking about others before himself.  He was a true gentleman. Isaacs devoted countless hours to a number of impactful philanthropic organizations, most notably Nashville CARES. He served on the Nashville CARES Board of Directors from 2004 to 2009 and served on various CARES fundraising event committees over many years.

Donors can DOUBLE THEIR IMPACT by donating and fundraising for the AIDS Walk from September 23rd to September 27th. This fundraising promotion is available to new, and already-registered AIDS Walk attendees on all new donations received during this period. Every dollar counts – TWICE. Help us raise an additional $50,000 in 5 days!

This year’s AIDS Walk fundraising goal is to raise $200,000 to help end the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee. The Nashville AIDS Walk takes place at 9am on Saturday, October 5 at Public Square Park, in downtown Nashville, TN.
