Nashville Pride Announces Pride At Home

NASHVILLE, TN (May 28, 2020) — The Nashville Pride Board of Directors has unveiled an entire slate of virtual and digital experiences to celebrate PRIDE@HOME presented by AllianceBernstein throughout the month of June.

The organization has curated a number of creative programs to stream online, safely at home that celebrates the talents of the LGBTQIA+ community. Each week throughout June, the community is invited to join Nashville Pride for Sing Me A Song, a multi-song performance by local and regional singer/songwriters on Wednesdays at 8 pm, Nashville Pride Live, a variety hour focused on celebrating the talents of our community on Fridays at 9 pm, and our new IGTV series Absolut-ely Fabulous Cocktails, where a local bartender from the LGBTQIA+ community will showcase how to make a simple, yet stunning cocktail to enjoy at home on Thursdays at 5 pm.

The first week of June Nashville Pride will launch an online vendor marketplace that features a number of local artisans and businesses, including a number of LGBTQIA+ owned retailers and businesses. Through the marketplace, you can learn more about each vendor and support the artisans and businesses that generally participate in the annual festival.

During Pride Month in June, both homes and businesses throughout the region show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community by displaying rainbow flags and messages of support for the community. This year, members of our community can show their pride throughout the month of June by flying Pride flags, decorating yards, balconies, windows, cars, and storefronts and support Nashville Pride at the same time with our Rainbow Store at NashvillePride.org.

Nashville Pride will be participating in Global Pride, an online event where Pride Organizations around the world will come together for 24 Hours of Pride from every time zone around the world. The event is set to take place on Saturday, June 27th, and simulcast on a number of digital platforms worldwide. Global Pride is the result of a collaboration between InterPride, a global federation of Pride organizations, and the European Pride Organisers Association. Members of the community interested in participating in the Global Pride celebration can
