Playhouse on the Square, in partnership with An Anonymous Company and super sponsor, Dr. Thomas Ratliff, welcomes the precocious Junie B. Jones back to The Circuit Playhouse stage in a comedy perfect for the whole family.

Junie is ecstatic about her brand new mittens – until a dirty, rotten thief steals them! So when she finds a fantastic pen on the school floor, she should get to keep it. Right? This comical and heartfelt tale, based on the best-selling book series by Barbara Park, finds our fearless friend in another mess. What will happen? That’s anyone’s guess.

Associate Company Member Kristin Doty (Little Women: The Broadway MusicalA Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder) will be taking on the role Junie B. Jones.  Ostrander Award and Larry Riley Rising Star Award winner Breyannah Tillman (DreamGirls, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert) returns to Playhouse on the Square in the role of Grace and Pink Fluffy Girl.  Playhouse on the Square Assistant Director of Theatre Education, Claire Rutkauskas is director of this production.

Performances will run Thursday and Friday at 7:00 pm. Special ticket pricing for opening weekend is $25. Pay What You Can performance, sponsored by Arts First and the First Tennessee Foundation, is December 20. Literacy Mid-South will be on hand to distribute free Junie B. Jones books to lucky families that day as well.
