Shab Chic Holiday Marketplace to open on Black Friday
Inaugural market to offer wide array of gifts from diverse set of vendors
Shab Chic Marketplace, in partnership with the Memphis Medical District Collaborative, will host its inaugural Holiday Market on weekends starting Friday, November 23 through Sunday, December 23 on Monroe Avenue in the Edge District. The Market will feature vendors with high quality, beautifully presented products geared towards holiday gift giving. Additional programming including gift-wrapping, entertainment, contests, and more are also planned.
A marketplace made of articulately designed shipping containers, Shab Chic is an innovative, fun and exciting opportunity for start-ups, small businesses and the community. The business is centered on the belief of inspiring innovation and creativity, promoting music, art, and above all, the businesses that comprise the marketplace.
“We couldn’t be more excited about the holiday market,” said Shab Chic co-owner Brian Christion. “The timing couldn’t be better as guests will be able to knock out most of their Christmas shopping in one fell swoop.”
In addition to existing Shab Chic tenants My Heavenly Creations Soap and Sundries, vendors will include 9.OH.1, The Label, Janey Bees Jems, Cry Baby, and In With the Old. There will also be a yet-to-be-named coffee vendor, different local charities and a Memphis Medical District Collaborative information station.
