Soul Ride is a complimentary neighborhood ride share, via golf cart, servicing Cooper Young, Overton Square, Levitt Shell and the neighborhoods within. Sit back and enjoy the ride. It’s free, but of course, tips are appreciated and welcomed.
Owners Lisa Boling and Jennifer Jordan are Cooper Young residents and avid supporters and patrons of businesses in its entertainment district.
“We enjoy all that our neighborhood has to offer. Our neighborhood is bursting with recent additions of fun, alternative modes of transportation; we saw an additional need to seamlessly connect Overton Square and Cooper Young, hotspots where parking is at a premium! We’ve found an eco-friendly solution,” Jennifer said.

The ride is a six-passenger, street legal, souped-up gas powered golf cart. It’s considered a low-speed vehicle and can travel on streets with speed limits of 35mph and under. Riders enjoy great, on-board music and LED lights that increase visibility at night.
The two ferry folks from Cooper Young to Overton square for those that love to bar hop. And to keep you safe, they’ll pick you up from the bar or your home, take you to your favorite dinner spot, the theater or even a friend’s house. As long as your destination is in their service range, you’re there.
The ladies roll Thursday- Sunday: Thursdays 5-9 p.m.; Fridays 5-11 p.m.; Saturdays noon to midnight; and Sundays 11a.m.-7p.m. Times may vary for special events as well as neighborhood requests.
