Party With a Purpose at The Mystic Krewe of Pegasus Ball

Let the good times roll for charity at the 21st annual Mystic Krewe of Pegasus Ball

“Laissez le bon temps rouler” (“let the good times roll”) at the 21st annual Mystic Krewe of Pegasus Ball on Saturday, January 27th. The Krewe and host, Action News 5’s Kym Clark, are bringing us a night of Memphis LGBTQIA+ celebration that will raise funds for the local nonprofit, Friends For All, as well as the Tennessee Equality Project.

This year, the Pegasus Mardi Gras Ball is all about “Dancing Thru The Decades,” so come in your best themed costume or formal attire for complimentary food and cocktails, a chance to win a table decorating contest, and a second line led by Memphis’ own Lucky 7 Brass Band (bring your umbrella!) at Minglewood Hall. Mystic Krewe will be honoring drag performers and King and Queen of Pegasus XIX, Joe Zeeben and Laurie Wilson-Gurley, who helped pick this year’s honored charities.

“We are delighted that Pegasus this year is supporting two organizations doing vital work to support and improve the lives of LGBTQ people in Tennessee,” said Queen of Pegasus XIX, Laurie Wilson Gurley.
