Celebrate Historic Wins for Nashville With the Victory Fund’s Nashville Champagne Brunch

This year’s Victory Fund Nashville Champagne Brunch will be taking place on Sunday, October 13th at Johnny Cash’s Kitchen and Saloon from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.

The annual event benefits the LGBTQ Victory Fund which supports LGBTQ candidates for public office at all levels of government. Nashville had seven Victory Fund-endorsed candidates run for Metro Council this election season with a historic five winning their races. Nashville-Davidson County now has a larger number of LGBT elected and appointed officials than most major metropolitan areas across the country.

Victory Fund CEO and President Mayor Annise Parker will attend this year’s event to celebrate the wins of Councilmembers Brett Withers (District 6), Emily Benedict (District 7), Nancy VanReece (District 8), Zach Young (District 10) and Russ Bradford (District 13). Mayor Parker will give an update on the work of the Victory Fund around the country and the state of politics for LGBT candidates.

The Brunch will also feature entertainment from recording artists Fancy Hagood and Harper Grae. The local host committee hopes you will join them to raise a toast and celebrate the historic wins of 2019 in Nashville! Tickets are on sale now at www.victoryfund.org/nashville.
