Breakfast for Dinner, a benefit for Room in the Inn, set for April 29
Tickets available now and at the door
Breakfast for Dinner is set for 6 to 9 pm, April 29 at the Galloway House, 1015 Cooper Street. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.
The most important meal of the day is making a move – for a very important cause.
Room in the Inn-Memphis is an ecumenical ministry that serves people experiencing homelessness. Now beginning its sixth year in Memphis, the program provides emergency shelter and meals during the coldest months of the year—November through March. It is modeled after the incredibly successful Room in the Inn program that started in Nashville 30 years ago.
Breakfast For Dinner will be serving up traditional pancakes, specialty pancakes, breakfast casseroles, pastries and so much more. Plus, there’ll be brunch-style cocktails including bloody marys and mimosas. Beer, provided by Memphis Made Brewing, will also be available.
“Come dressed in your PJs, if you want,” said organizer Robert Hileman. “Just be there for a great night supporting a great cause.”
Music will be provided by DJ Zac Ives.
