Focus Middle Tennessee Wins Small Business Diversity Award

NASHVILLE – Focus Middle Tennessee (FMT) is proud to announce they have won the Small Business Diversity Award at the annual Nashville LGBT Chamber Excellence in Business Awards. The two-hour event was held Friday, May 3 at J.W. Marriott in downtown Nashville and included networking, lunch and awards in seven categories plus the President’s Award.

One of those categories was the Small Business Diversity Award. This award is given to the company who has the most policies and practices that protect and engage their LGBT employees, customers, and suppliers. The better candidate will be involved in the local LGBT community. The best candidate will have a consistent relationship with the LGBT Chamber.

“We’re so happy to be chosen as the winner of this award. It means so much to us knowing that our hard work is paying off… that the community sees what our company is truly about. We want to thank everyone who nominated and voted for us this year,” said Associate Publisher, Selena Haynes.
