Nashville CARES Rolls Out New Giving Campaign

CARES Packages, a gift that changes lives!

Nashville, Tenn. – The CARES Packages campaign showcases the services that Nashville CARES provides those living with or at risk of HIV. The campaign launches today and will be the main focus for Giving Tuesday and World AIDS Day on December 1 and will continue through the holiday giving season.

The CARES Packages run from $25.00 – $4,400 for a one-time gift or $15.00 – $400 for a smaller monthly commitment, which actually provides an even greater impact of services.  All CARES Packages can be given in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one. The entire campaign can be found at https://www.nashvillecares.org/cares-packages.

ESSENTIAL SERVICES CARES PACKAGES: Can provide someone living with HIV with personalized food for home delivery, transportation, household items and a cell phone to stay connected. Can also provide someone living with HIV who was recently experiencing homelessness with household essentials.

PREVENTION EDUCATION CARES PACKAGES: can provide those at risk in our community with confidential HIV and Hep-C testing with the ability to get into care within 24 hours of a positive diagnosis.

COUNSELING & COMMUNITY CARES PACKAGE: can provide someone with counseling to address trauma, mental health, and substance use or can provide someone living with HIV educational programs and social groups that help them overcome stigma and isolation.

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARES PACKAGE: can provide medication adherence tools, transportation or can provide a comprehensive first visit to the Nashville CARES My House Clinic.

“It is important to us that donors know how their financial gifts are being used and that they are making a real difference in the lives of people in our community,” says Debbie Barnett, Director of Marketing & Communications. “It is also important to us that we make it possible for anyone to have an impact with whatever gift size they can manage. Whether you can afford a smaller $15 monthly gift or a one-time $4,400 gift or anything in between – any amount will greatly impact the health of someone living with or at-risk of HIV.”
