Nashville Fashion Week 2018 – an Event ‘Elevated’ Above the Rest

Featuring four nights of runway shows, countless shopping opportunities, and numerous other engaging experiences, the 2018 Nashville Fashion Week did not disappoint. Oz Arts Nashville provided the perfect backdrop for the week’s show stopping events. With opening night bringing the Nashville Designer’s Showcase, we were treated with local talent and flavor.

Any Old Iron brought a zombie-like feel to their collection showcase while the 2017 Fashion Forward Fund Recipient, Maria Silver’s collection, Black by Maria Silver, provided a structured design with flow and color. Throughout the week we were treated with shows featuring ready to wear creations by designers like Faherty and Julianna Bass and collections from emerging designers including a crowd favorite, Splashed by DKG. The shows were peppered by performances from live acts including Escondido and Karen Elson. The week was brought to a close with the vibrant collection presented by Anna Sui.

The events will continue this fall with the Fifth Annual Nashville Fashion Forward Fund Gala on Saturday, September 15 at OZ Arts. Stay tuned for more information.
