Welcome Our New Digital Marketing Coordinator, Kelly Seagraves!

Focus LGBT Magazine Welcomes Local Creative Force Kelly Seagraves

We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, Kelly Seagraves, who will be joining us as Digital Marketing Coordinator.

A native of Memphis, Kelly Seagraves (she/they) brings a wealth of creativity and expertise to the role. As the owner and creative force behind the successful small business, Pastelware, Kelly has demonstrated a remarkable ability to blend innovation, style, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity. Their work as a jewelry designer has garnered recognition, showcasing a dynamic fusion of artistic vision.

Beyond their creative pursuits, Kelly is an advocate for various social causes, including reproductive freedom, racial justice, trans inclusion, and queer visibility. Acknowledging their own privilege as a white, cis-passing individual in a predominantly Black city, Kelly is dedicated to leveraging their platform for meaningful change. Their mission extends to amplifying the voices of those facing intersectional challenges, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA2+ community members, people of color, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing poverty and homelessness.

In expressing his enthusiasm for the new addition, Ray Rico, the owner and publisher of Focus LGBT Magazine, remarked, “I’m excited to have her energy and drive on the team.”

Kelly is eager to collaborate with the Focus team and contribute to the collective effort in guiding our community toward a more equitable future for ALL.
